A she wolf was sitting under a tree, enjoying the shade. She didn't really like te sun,but she could get over it.She stood up when she saw a deer eating grass. She licked her mouth as she could almost taste the deer. She bent down and could feel the grass on her belly.Blue then jumped and ran at the deer at full speed. She jumped on the deer and bite down on it's neck hard. You could hear the bones breaking and Blue could taste the blood. The deer landed on the ground and it was dead.Blue started to eat the deer.

The harsh beams of sunlight filtered through the overshadowing branches and dappled his back with spots of light. The illuminated area on his brightly-shaded fur showed the vast array of differently-tinged hairs, varying in gleam from a pure white to warm ginger to a rich blonde.
The summery light bore down on him with irritating intensity making the heat nearly unbearable to stand beneath – albeit of all places to travel he’d been too impatient to take the forest detour in order to locate a border and instead has chosen to waltz through the sun-seared meadow. The humidity choked him, the warmth of the air inflating his lungs and making his tongue dry with thirst. He was no where near the point of dehydration but the moisture in his body was slowly diverting from the pink organ in his mouth to nourish more vital areas so that he could make adequate progress.
Despite the heaviness of his white paws the male moved with surprising agility, each stride a fluid and seamless motion. Bright cerulean eyes were near transparent under the light as they glared into the wavering horizon. Of all seasons it was summer that he hated most of all. Bugs were a constant problem, ticks suckled at his ears or latched onto him; flies buzzed before him and created a veil with their tiny bodies. Growling tetchily he pressed on, tail raised and swatting insects as it waved behind him. Ark orange ears shifted diligently as he kept his body low among the waving golden sea.
It was the perfect camouflage for a wolf of not only his stature but coloring. His sun-kissed fur melded with the yellow grasses as summer sucked the moisture from them and turned them from verdant green to their bright yellow. Nostrils flared and stiffness overcame the wolf that perked up immediately to assess his location.
A flock of sparrows took flight at the same instant that Esper stilled, as though sensing the same violence that he’d detected. Eyes narrowing he allowed himself to raise from his stalking posture to look beyond the ocean of grass. Another wolf had emerged from hiding, careened through the tall grass like an Osprey diving for the fish that lingered too long at the surface. With impossible accuracy she pinned her target, wrestled the animal to the floor and was gone.
He blinked and settled his anxiety as he watched the area where the rustling continued, waited until the foliage had settled the distinct shatter of bones and flesh being torn apart did Esper begin to move again. Forgetting how uncomfortable he was among the heat he prowled a ways closer, tentatively closing the distance between himself and the nameless hunter and sniffing inquisitively. Female, loner, that much he could confirm with his nose pointed high and mouth opened to taste the air for her signature aroma. It was a rare occasion this, a pack-less female in the open was a dangerous creature indeed.
"Your jump was off." he commented from a safe but audiable distance, eyes drilling a hole into the females skull and face dark as though he were wishing horrible thing upon her. This wasn't his intention of course, this was just how Esper said 'Hello'.

Blue perked his ears when she heard a males voice. Her mouth was coverd with blood and some blood dripped from her muzzle onto the ground. She turned her head to the male wolf."Who are you,My name is Blue?"She asked him.She then looked at the deer and saw there was still meat on there."Would you like the rest of the deer?"Blue asked. She didn't really trust this wolf yet,she had to get to know them more.

Jugding at her reaction Esper could deduce one of two things: Either the female had already been aware of his presence and had chosen to disregard him, or that she was too foolhardy to calculate the dangers of permitting an unknown wolf, specifically a male, at this proximity.
There was no indication of hostility and no underlying hints of a potential threat and Esper couldn’t determine which irked him more – her lack of surprise or her amiable attitude. Typically the vagrant wolves would be somewhat hostile, especially when there was a fresh kill lying around and food being harder to obtain on ones own made the situation hazardous.
It caused an ample amount of confusion to surface as the blonde male gave the she-wolf an impassive expression for her offer. He couldn’t trust her any more than she could him; experience dictated that not even the seemingly weaker females of their species could be wholly overlooked as a probable threat. “I’m surprised you aren’t even a little bit hostile. Most girls don’t like lone males so close. You got a protector or something or are you one of those ‘special’ females?” he asked with a curt look.

Blue looked at him."No,I am just a regular female wolf."She said. She was a nice wolf and was never mean to wolves before. She would never be mean, but she knew a few wolves that were mean. Blue stood up and looked at the male."How are you?"She asked. Now Blue was trusting this wolf because he wasn't mean to her or attacked her. Some wolves would do that to her,but this one was nice and kind.

Esper couldn’t accurately recall the last time he’d been in a conversation with another vagrant that didn’t begin with bristling and snarling, insults and maybe a little blood in the dirt. He’d grown accustomed to the groundless animosity and so had conformed to meet realities fierce bite. And yet here this she-wolf stood before him with her teeth bared out of kindness rather than animosity – a smile meant to cite sociability not malevolence. It was…refreshing, yet still somewhat unsettling to the combative male who rigidly took in Blue’s appearance as though he were memorizing it.
She confused him, so pleasant and yet rootless. Left alone in a land where those stronger than herself could take advantage of her. A region where rovers like him would gladly gang up on the little huntress to steal her meal and chase her off the property. It didn’t make sense, this unfounded affability that she exuded. It was unheard of even!
Esper dropped his heels in the dirt, lip slightly distended in a very pout-like expression as his head slowly tilted to the right. "I'm confused. You don't make sense to me." he admitted grumpily.

Blue looked at him when he said that she confused and she don't make sense to him.She even heard him say it in a grumpy voice."What do you mean?"She asked. Now she was getting confused.A lot of wolves would say that to her and she didn't know why.Blue sighed.

She was genuinely oblivious to how bizarre her demeanor was. Was she so naïve? No, he could sense the intelligence in her but she seemed so very blithe to the perils that surrounded her. It was almost laughable actually. How optimistic she was in comparison to the standoffish male who regarded her as his polar opposite in every fashion. And she also seemed to not quite comprehend the meaning of his comment, which further made how blithe she seemed more disturbing.
“Have you met any lone wolves before? Even pack wolves are as friendly as you are to strangers!” he scolded, the gruff notes and stiff posture presented an imposing atmosphere. His eyes followed her like a target and didn’t relent in their obstinate glare until they were hidden behind their lashes in frustration. “You. Are. Weird.” He grunted, emphasizing each syllable as it slid off his tongue, leaning forward to put additional weight to each word.
“You’re too nice! I could jump you at any minute and you’re offering to feed me? Are you dumb or new to this game?”

Blue let out a growl. Now this wolf was pissing her off.She could kill him,but she didn't want she jump."I am just a nice wolf and a not dumb. Why don't you get that through your skull."Blue said,as she snarled. She then leaped at the wolf, ready to pin him down. She wanted to see what he would do to her.

Her reactions to his scathing insults were those that he had grown familiar with – albeit the anger was invoked by his consistent verbal torment rather than the habitual reason. Esper didn’t so much as bat an eye as her smile contorted into an indignant snarl, the kindness swept away by the induced tide of fury. ’Just a nice wolf’ apparently she didn’t quite grasp that the time where niceties would ensure no bodily harm as not yet at hand. Esper could only conclude that she was indefinitely stupid despite her insistence that she wasn’t.
Lone wolves had the proverbial thought pattern of prey – if the opponent is larger or more likely to be violent and win, flee. If the elements were vise versa than by all means bristle and hold your ground against the adversary and pray that the outcome allows you to see the next dawn. She obviously didn’t know what she was doing as she threateningly tensed her muscles, the ripple of sinew beneath her pelt easily read by his wary eyes.
“I may be thick in the skull but you’ve got to be brain-dead. Inviting unknown males to dine with you, please.” He scoffed, lifting a forepaw as if to shoo away the thought of her hospitality. The instant he saw the flex of skin tightening he knew she would leap for him, he’d anticipated it and wasn’t in the least bit offset by the assault. If anything, he’d planned for it,
With the raised forepaw he extended it, the rough, trail-beaten pad exposed and held out. A calculating grin adorned his golden face before he swung at her with his thick mitt looking to connect with her muzzle and throw her off course. Mid-air she couldn’t maneuver away from the attack and with her momentum she’d meet it regardless of what she did to evade.

Blue saw his paw hit her muzzle and she landed on her side on the ground. She yelped and got back up.It didn't hurt that much."Not all wolves are that smart."She said to the male. She then walked away from the male because she didn't want to agure with him anymore. Some wolves were nice and mean,it was just part of life.
