Calypso trotted towards the dens beside Thanatos, Stunt followed behind. She was a beautiful white, small wolf and Thanatos was a large, dark brown, strong wolf. They seemed like total opposties, but she really liked him, she was heavy with pups, expecting in a few days. She smiled as the dens came into view, and when they were right infront of them she stopped.
The Queen sat on her haunches, the perfect little way she always did, that Thanatos seemed to like. Now he would do his small speech on each of the dens and tell the brute he had to stay in the omega, worst one. She smiled a small smile to herself but stayed quiet.

Stunt looked at the queen as she sat down, looking at the alpha for a moment before his gaze flickered to the dens. Dirty and small. He sighed and studied them carefully. What one would be his? The Omega one, the smallest of them all? Probably. He accepted it, though he thought they should be a little nicer. Oh well, this is not his land.
He stood looking from the dens to the alpha pair. Shaking off his paw from the dirt and glancing at the almost disappearing sun. There were a few more hours beofore night. He was a little hungry, and felt like hunting, but knew the alpha had to talk to him about something first. Thats always how it was, never just a simple, 'heres your den, go hunting then sleep.' After all these thoughts had left his head he sighed and looked back at the dens, a small grin on his face as he turned to them. "Which one it mine?" He asked.

Thanatos walked next to his strikingly beautiful mate. She was this perfect white angel; he was this dark, chauvanistic, cocky bastard. The pair were complete opposites, but he was devoted to her in almost every way. If the need arose, he would put her in her place -- with her tail below his own. Camp came into view. Well, 'camp' isn't really the name to call it. There were a total of 7 inlets into the side of a hill. The one at the bottom was small and very open. The "Guest Den".
In all honesty it was a punishment to be placed there. In the harsh winds of the packlands, the Guest Den was possibly the worst place to sleep. If it was raining, one would probably drown. Above that about 15 lengths were three openings to really the same den. The cave actually went back quite a ways, far enough for 7 or 8 wolves to sleep comfortably inside. Just a few lengths above those three were two more: one was deep enough for a max of 3 and the other was a good den for a single wolf. Then, at the top and definitely the most comfortable place on the hill there was an actual den. It was made by wolves and therefor it was very cozy and very warm inside.
Thanatos was mulling over which of the dens to put Stunt into. He knew that he should put him in the "Guest Den", but something in the back of his mind told him no. He glanced at the den that would house only one wolf. I figure that's where he'll wind up anyway. No, can't make it that easy, he thought. Finally he pointed, "I probably don't need to explain anything to you...so that one." His muzzle was pointed towards the cluster of three openings to the same cave.

Calypso walked beside the brown, large, handsome brute she was lucky enough to call her mate and she smiled at the thought. The hill with the dens came into view but she did not run up ahead. She stayed by her mate and wondered where he'd put Stunt. Maybe the Guest one..?
She stopped when they were close and sat on her haunches. Her tail was still, not excited, nor bored. She was content and happy. Auds listened to the voice she found sweet and dear and was surprised Stunt could sleep in one of the better one's, not best by far but not bad either. It fit many a wolf, and was pretty good. Though she looked forward to sleeping her their comfortable one. Orbs looked over them all, making the Alphess feel a little tired, but then again she was carrying a few extra pounds.. -Pups coming tonight... can ypu possibly finish the info on them?? -

Waiting to see where he would be sleeping Stunt's gaze landed on the many dens spread out infront of them. He saw the worst one, probably the one he would be in. He understood it, seeing how his old pack treated new wolves, he knew where he would stay probably. Swishing his tail for a moment he glanced back to the alpha. Listening to him speak, then nodded. Watching to see where he pointed, bringing his orbs to look at a large den, big enough for many wolves to sleep in.
He nodded again and moved towards it, looking inside for a moment. It was better than the one he had seen, which made him smile slightly. He stepped back and looked at the alphess, then the alpha, waiting if there were any other instructions.

Thanatos watched the newest member of his pack inspect his new den. Stunt seemed to be one of the most laid back wolves Thanatos had ever seen. He honestly did not think that the new-comer would ever challenge the king's authority. Thanatos also figured that he would act as a pack-mate should and not be a total jerk to everyone else to undermine the alpha. Thanatos was mulling all of these things over in his mind and came close to taking back what he had said about the den. He was tempted to put Stunt in the beta den.
No...I can't afford to be impulsive like that again. The king forced his jaws to stay together as he nodded his head in Stunt's direction, giving the brute leave to do as he wished. "There's a fairly fresh kill just over the top of the hill, past my den," he said gruffly. It was placed downwind from the pack so he doubted anyone could scent it. "You're welcome to it if you wish..."

Calypso smiled and giggled, she knew that kill was there when she came, maybe tommorow they would get everyone together to hunt, but she would have to stay behind with her pups. As she walked up the hill, she growled to Stunt to keep the hell away from her litter until SHE trusted him with their lives. She curled around them in the den, far back so her mate could come in if he wished. The pups suckled from her, and then curled up by her stomach to stay warm, since they were only a week old, and they all slept.

Ears pricking at the sound of first Thantos' voice, then Calypso's. He nodded to the alpha. "Thanks," He was hungry, and glanced at the hill for a moment, then Calypso growled, though he stayed where he was. Nodding to her slowly, then trotting up to the hill. She must've had pups. Femmes are always grumpy then, he thought, rolling his eyes. He knew she was just being protective and understood that.
Finding the top of the hill after a minute or less he looked around once. He could see some more of the land from here, then he saw the meat and smiled. Padding along towards it quickly. He reached it and glanced from it, up to the hill. Then took a large piece and ate it quickly. He ate more until he was full, there was a few large chunks left.

Calypso trotted up into her den, curled up and slept. Chest rising and falling, as the pups laid inebetween she and Thanatos.
