The female knew that she was taking herself and her pup into the lands of another pack, the smell of wolf had been strong for some time now, but they had to keep going regardless. She had to find some food for her little pup, that's all there was to it, she did not want to remain, she just wanted some food... The female's legs suddenly shook and buckled leaving her on the edge of the meadow without a leg to stand on.
Kulo blinked, tilting his head toward his mother. "You alright, mother?" He asked in his innocence not understanding that she was nearing death and starvation.
"I... I'm fine, Kulo." She replied to him in labored breaths, "Go see if you can find a rabbit's nest. They're hard to find but a prize if you do." The female said to him obviously trying to divert his attention from her condition.
The pup nodded completely unaware before bouncing off into the tall grass, as only a puppy could. He searched high and low, even falling into a hole at one point, but he didn't manage to find a single nest. Disappointed, he returned to his mother. "Mother I--" Kulo stopped suddenly, sniffing toward his mother, his ears flattening against his head. Something was not right. "Mother?" He called again, but the female did not stir, she did not even open her eyes.
"Mother?" The pup called again, bounding toward her. "I couldn't find any rabbit's nests." Kulo said quietly brushing the female's muzzle. Reality hit him like a brick wall once he realized, she wasn't going to be getting up again. The pup whined quietly, brushing against her hopelessly not wanting to give into that fact.
Still whimpering, the little pup sighed, curling up against what remained of his mother's warmth for the last time. And out of innocence, Kulo let out one puppyish, lamenting howl, not understanding how dangerous such could be, all he could understand was how hard it was for him to express his own feelings.

Kulo nearly jumped out of his skin at the sudden approach of this new, very much so alive female. Wide eyed he stared at her for several moments, then with a whimper, opted to hide under his, now deceased, mother's leg and head failing to notice that his chubby hindquarters were still sticking out in the open. The pup continued to whine, obviously terrified, in his short life he had yet to actually meet another wolf aside from his mother and his siblings that had died so young. Actually meeting another wolf was next to horrifying, and the fact that his mother really was no help to him was even worse.
OOC: No trouble. Sorry this is short myself

Daire}} Charcoal fur seemed to drift along the soft calming hues of the yellow honey colored wheat. The form was no other then Daire's own towering form that seemed to stalk through the thin stalks of wheat. Dark golden teal orbs seemed to flutter toward the south half of the meadow, the surprising scent of a dead careful on his maw. The scent did not stir Daire as it did most wolves, instead it seemed to lure him toward the sight.
Those large yet almost elegant paws seemed to shift forward, completely soundless as his form was exposed from the thin stalks. The stud was a dark figure, he gave off a rolling sort of omen. That if crossed one would not live long. Those dim orbs seemed to flutter across the form of the dead she, and the small pup cowering under her corpse. None to far was that of another female that smelt just of loner.
Daire considered the small pup and his loner companion might do some use to his pack. A soft snarl tore from his black leather felt lips as he urged his paws to jump before the wolves. 'Both of you, why are you here?' Those strange teal yet golden hues seemed to seep along the pelts of the wolves, before he brought his standing fur down with a flick of his tail. A hint of compassion crossing his features. 'Pup, tell me what happened to your--mother I am guessing, and who is this fae?' That dark length of tail seemed to twitch once before the male dropped onto his haunches.

Kulo peered out from under his mother's neck, looking over her still leg, his eyes fixed on the female. He slowly opened his mouth as if to say something to the lone female when another scent hit him. The pup sniffed then flattened himself slight as the second, and far more powerful smelling, wolf came into view. Kulo did not understand the idea of pack hierarchy but from what his mother had told him about packs, the latest arrival had to be an alpha.
The pup whimpered when the male spoke to him, perhaps more afraid of the recent events than that of the risks of trespassing in another's land. "I... I don't know." Kulo finally replied, speaking in a quiet voice fringed with fear. "She just told me to go look for rabbit's nests... and -- and when I came back, she was --" The pup whined again not finishing his sentence.
He did not understand the idea of starvation that his mother had suffered. She had ensured that he would live while she took the risk of perishing and did so. But he could not understand that for he was so young and always had a full tummy. He could not understand his mother's sacrifice.
Kulo thought for a moment of saying more however, that of a butterfly caught the small pup's eye. He wiggled out from underneath his mother's neck and bounced after the insect, forgetting his train of thought and those around him as he did his best to try to catch the bug.

Blue perked her ears when she heard a males voice. She then knew it was the Alpha of the pack. She turned around to face him."I was going to join your pack and I am Blue."She said,as she looked at the male.Blue then turned her head to the pup and saw him trying to catch a bug.She smiled and let out a small laugh. She then sat down and put her tail over her front paws like she would always do.

Daire}} The brute was silent for several long minutes, most likely thinking about his next move. His pack did need members ever since their relocation they had lost many members from disease, death, and like that dead female starvation from the long trip. The dark fibers of his charcoal fur seemed to raise as the one named Blue continued to speak. Which caused the alpha's dark orbs to follow the butterfly chasing pup. The pup would have to toughen up to live under his rule, but the little one was but a pup. The playfulness of youth would end, and the pup would one day be the new powers then Daire gave his title away.
Snorting softly, the brute's tail lashed across the ground. His eyes skimming over the dead fae before he dropped onto his haunches. Catching her scuff in his jaws while the pup was bouncing away from him. He dragged the female into a small dirt pit, and carefully pushed in some leafs with some dirt before returning. 'Fine. You will be the little pups caretaker from now on. Welcome to Snow Pack. Follow me to the lands.' His voice was generally soft, as he turned on his paws stalking slowly toward the scent of his home.
